Florida MEGA Meet: January 30

Greetings and welcome to the official Florida Lexus-Supra Winter Mega Meet website. This is the fifth year this event has been in existence. Our goal is to have this year’s Mega Meet be the best and biggest yet, making it the best event of Winter 2010!

For starters, we are working for you, the car enthusiast, to create a unique and comfortable environment. The event will take place over two days with a broad based focus in mind. Saturday the 30th is our Dyno Day at South FL Turbo. Sunday the 31st, the festivities move to JM Lexus, the world’s number one Lexus dealer. We invite you to come and learn even more about these great cars and the lifestyle they have created at this year’s event.

Guidelines:

During the event there will some guidelines and rules which are basic common sense to provide a friendly and safe environment for attendees and those involved with creating the event. As all these guidelines can't be fully enforced, it is up to each participant to follow them to create a great environment for the event.

At Events:

Please keep to the legal posted speed limits at and around the event locations.
There will be no street racing, drifting, burnouts or any other illegal motor sport activity allowed.
No alcohol consumption will be permitted at the venues or during the event.
If there is a cruise: Follow all traffic laws and regulations.

Be advised that REAL police and security will be on hand; if anyone acts up they will be removed.

We ask that you respect the wishes of the organizers and sponsor's who put on this event for you. Note that all these guidelines are for the event and anything you do in your car and on your own away from the event is your own business but the sponsors, venues and organizers will NOT be responsible.

At South Florida Turbo

Meet up at South Florida Turbo for a full day of the DYNO shoot out. There will be a Raffle along with food vendors for your enjoyment. $35 gets you 3 pulls and a print out. 9am is the start time, 11:30am is the cut off, if your car is not there by this time. It will most likely not be on the Dyno. This event is open to all cars who wish to dyno on a first come first serve basis. We will have cool giveaways and some other surprises. Don’t forget your video camera’s!

Nighttime Activities

From the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino to the famous clubs and beaches of Miami's South Beach, there area great ways to entertain yourself and your old and new friends. All of these locations also lend to a great cruising experience throughout South Florida streets and highways.

Early Roll In: 12:30pm

JM Lexus

Please get there early for a good spot as event Roll In starts at 12:30 pm. This day will be more industry oriented as there will be sponsors and dealership tours to show how the JM Lexus dealership works. There will also be the great tunes by our DJ as people take in the cars, food like the day before with prizes. Prizes, yes prizes. At this years event we will be having a Huge raffle, brought to you by our great sponsors, for you to win great new gear for you and your car. There is a $25 registration fee. This will include your parking space, food ticket, chance for best of show, goodie bag, chance for awards, and other surprises!

Raffle tickets will be on sale the day of the event, we will be making a LARGE donation to the YATC charity from the raffle proceeds.

The day will then end with closing ceremonies and awards which include best 1st and 2nd, 3rd. Gen Lexus and Supra classes as well as a best in show with cash prizes of $250 to $1000 along with 25 trophies.

3-5pm Raffles, Car judging.

5-530pm: Wrap up/Awards/Best of show/Car giveaway.
